Hey there! I’m Macey Jurado. A storyteller at heart, a world traveler by experience, and an artist by calling.

I’m currently in my final year at the University of Miami, completing my BFA in Musical Theatre. Every day I’m inspired to push myself as a performer and to grow as both an artist and a human being. My journey to the stage hasn’t exactly been traditional, but it’s one that’s shaped the way I tell stories and connect with people.

Before pursuing theatre full time, I proudly served in the United States Navy. My service gave me the opportunity to live abroad in Korea and Greece, where I fell in love with the beauty of different cultures, the value of community, and the thrill of exploring the unknown. Those experiences instilled in me a deep appreciation for travel, adaptability, and resilience, qualities I carry into every rehearsal room and performance.

All About Macey

My passion for musical theatre began in the most ordinary but magical way; listening to Les Misérables in the car with my dad. The soaring music, the emotional storytelling, and the bond we shared through those songs lit a spark in me that’s never gone out. That spark has guided me from naval bases overseas to the stages I now call home.

When I’m not performing, you can usually find me planning my next adventure, soaking in new places, or connecting with people over stories, food, and laughter. I believe theatre, much like travel, is about stepping into another world and walking away changed.

I’m grateful for the winding road that’s brought me here and excited for the one ahead. Whether on stage, on screen, or halfway across the world, I’m committed to telling stories that move people, challenge perspectives, and create moments of connection.

Xoxo, M
